Chicken and Waffle Skewers

Makes 30 skewers.

Crunchy CHEF’S CRAFT® Gourmet Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks and buttery maple waffles come together for a bite-sized appetizer everyone will love! These Chicken and Waffle Skewers from food blogger Dance Around the Kitchen are perfect for entertaining. 

Chef's Note:

The number of chicken pieces in each bag may vary. Large pieces can be cut into bite-sized pieces.


  • 1 16 oz CHEF’S CRAFT® Grilled Chicken Breast Chunks
  • 4 frozen homestyle waffles
  • 2 tbsp salted butter
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • Additional maple syrup for serving if desired


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and spray a sheet pan with cooking spray.

  2. Spread the CHEF’S CRAFT® Gourmet Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks out on the pan and bake for 12 minutes.

  3. While the chicken is baking, cut each waffle into 9 pieces; set aside.

  4. In a small dish, add the salted butter and maple syrup. Microwave for 10-20 seconds or until the butter is melted; set aside.

  5. Remove the chicken from the oven and use a spatula to move the chicken to one side of the pan.

  6. Spread the cut waffles out on the other side of the pan and brush them with the butter/syrup mixture.

  7. Bake an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the waffles are a light golden brown.

  8. Thread one piece of breaded chicken and one waffle piece onto each skewer and place on a serving tray.

  9. Serve with warmed maple syrup, if desired.
